What inspired you to become a writer?
I was inspired to write after reading the book Native Son by the Author Richard Wright. His story telling ability was infectious and I decided that’s the way I would like to communicate my feelings to the world.
What genre of writing are your books and why?
I currently write in the urban fiction literary genre. It’s a fairly new genre with lots of possibilities and growth. I am able to write with more passion and feelings of the African-American experience in current day society.
What are the titles of your books and a brief description of each one?
My first published title is Overlords Karma: Miami’s Urban Chronicles Volume I. I chose to publish this work with Printhouse Books.

What are you currently working on?
I am currently working on a biopic of a south Florida magazine executive about the trials and tribulations of his life path.
What writers inspire you?
I’m inspired by a diverse group of writers ranging from Stephen King to Maya Angelou. I love the art and love to see the ideas of others put to paper.
What is the biggest thing you have learnt whilst self publishing?
Publishing is a practice in patience and I have learned not to rush the process.
What advice would you give other writers?
My advice to other writers is your work represents you and it’s up to you to make sure that it is flawless.
